Early Intervention Services

Coastside Child Development Center’s early intervention services are designed to provide for the special needs of children ages birth to five years with developmental delays and to provide support to their families. These services include:

  • Developmental screenings with:
    • Ages & Stages Questionnaires®.
    • California Department of Education’s Desired Results Developmental Profiles.
  • Support for in-classroom inclusion.
  • Consultations and referrals.

Mental Health Services

Coastside Child Development Center understands the connection between mental health and future success. CCDC’s mental health specialist works with teachers and families to help children grow and develop in a positive way. Coastside Child Development Center provides the following mental health services:

  • In-classroom behavioral support and interventions for children.
  • Parent and teacher education and training. Our goal is to enhance the health and functioning of the relations surrounding the care and education of young children.
  • Consultations and referrals.

Nutrition Services

Coastside Child Development Center provides a nutritious breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for all children in our full day toddler and preschool programs. All meals are prepared fresh daily from Chefables and exceed the nutrition standards of the USDA Child Care Food Program and are provided free of charge to children who qualify.

Case Management Services

Coastside Child Development Center provides needed resources and referrals in order to reduce family stress and to promote healthy development of children.
