At Coastside Child Development Center we understand that getting ready for the future begins at birth. The first 5 years lay a foundation that influences the effectiveness of all subsequent educational efforts and is a period of incredible growth in all areas of a child’s development. We also understand the importance of the balance between cognitive and literacy skills for children with comparable attention to the emotional and social development of children.

Our programs include play-based, teacher-directed, and small group learning activities that support all areas of development and Kindergarten readiness. 

Throughout our environment are learning centers that encourage language and literacy, fine and large motor skills, math, science, art, and dramatic play both inside and outside. 

Early intervention is the keystone of our program and is a vital component to all children’s development. Our goal is to support children in their growth to become independent, strong, responsible, confident, self-regulated, resilient, and kind adults.
